Movember 2015: The MO you know, the better!

What does Movember mean to you Villain's Story? Take a couple of seconds to think about it…if you think it’s a cool campaign where men all over the world grow a moustache and post selfies, you may have missed the point completely.

When was the last time you heard a guy talk openly about his prostate and/or testicles? Never, right? And yet, these are two cancers that can be cured, if detected in their early stages. The purpose of the Movember campaign is simple: create awareness = more participants = donations are received = more lives are saved.

From Awareness to Action:

Globally, men are dying at a younger age than women, and we want to help prevent that. To do so, we decided to join the Movember MOVEment.

Through our #MenOfAction campaign, we challenge every man to do more than simply grow a mo in 2015: go out and take ACTION to improve your health. Here are the five steps for you to take part:

  1. Find a piece of cardboard or print out our #MenOfAction placard.
  2. Write down what you are doing to take ACTION for better health.
  3. Post your picture on twitter / Facebook / instagram with the hashtags #Movember #MenOfAction.
  4. Go and DO what you said.
  5. Sign up to become a Mo Bro or Mo Sista!

Other ways to take part:

This year, the Movember Foundation will also be putting one foot in front of the other, tackling the health issues associated with a lack of physical activity – and by getting up off the couch, you can make your body smile, while also spreading awareness, it’s a win-win combo!
