Schumacher no longer in coma

You probably remember a time when Michael Schumacher’s name was hardly ever out of the media - especially during Grand Prix season. However, today Schumacher is driving the longest and hardest race of his life, the one to recover from a very serious head injury he sustained while skiing in December last year. Michael Schumacher will receive muscle therapy

Formula One Legend Michael Schumacher, who is now entering his fifth week in a medically induced coma, will soon receive muscle training to prevent muscle atrophy. This kind of exercise is usually given to people who are bed ridden or in a coma. Its purpose is to prevent muscle mass from withering away after long periods of neglect.
