White bean salad

This tasty salad incorporates ingredients from a variety of food groups korail 2007 body.


  • ¾ cup low-fat, French salad dressing
  • 1 x 410g can cannellini beans, drained
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • ½ teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 6 cups herb lettuce
  • ½ cup sliced cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)


  1. It’s simple! Combine all ingredients in a large salad bowl and toss with the salad dressing just before serving.
  2. Serve salad with toasted French bread drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with salt.
