Andy’s blog update – The blood results are in

Last week, Andy went for his 50 day / half way blood tests – to see how they compare to when he first started on the Tim Noakes eating plan. As you can see from the table we drew up below showing his main test results, there were a number of changes, most notably the significant increase in his LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. But what do these numbers actually mean, and how do we know if they’re good or bad? We sent Andy’s results to three of our resident doctors, to get their feedback and to help us better understand what’s going on.

Andy’s fifth week on the Tim Noakes 100 day eating plan

We check in with Hello Doctor’s CEO, Andy, to get his latest feedback on the 100 day Tim Noakes eating plan.

Andy’s just entered week 6 of the eating plan, and reckons this past week was his toughest week to date. Not because of what he was eating, but because he drank 6 days out of 7 due to a hectic social schedule that included cricket, drinks with friends, a charity golf day, the Springfield Fair, his daughter’s birthday, and cheering on the cyclists in the Cycle Tour. A busy week to say the least!

Andy: My first 20 days on the Tim Noakes eating plan

Andy is Hello Doctor’s very own CEO, and he embarked on the Tim Noakes eating plan around 20 days ago, having tried other eating plans with varying degrees of success. He still has around 80 days to go on the 100 day “test” for this moderate protein, high-fat and low-carb eating plan, but Andy says he’s already seeing good results.

To keep his progress easy to track, we’ve asked Andy to feedback with a questionnaire we’ve created specifically for him. So, here goes with his first feedback.
